Fatima Mukendi
Hi! I’m Fatima Mukendi currently in the APN Global Health program. I have a background in neurosurgery, community/primary care, and some travel nursing. I’ve also always been passionate about health equity and sustainability.
I’ve seen how environments shape both well-being and the way we show up for others and continue to stay committed to creating spaces where students feel supported, connected, and empowered. As VP Sustainability, I hope to continue to highlight sustainability and make it approachable in our daily lives. I aim to foster space for practical initiatives and shared responsibility, in changes big and small. I hope we can build a sense of community around these efforts, to learn from one another, and build habits that last beyond our time here!
